Dr Lochana Maldeniya is an Australian-trained General Practitioner and Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He has cared for patients in Toowoomba since 2019 across community general practice, urgent care, home visiting, respiratory clinic work and medical education.


Dr Loch founded Toowoomba Telehealth to improve access to safe, high-quality GP care for patients in Toowoomba and surrounding communities. His approach is calm, thorough and patient-centred, with a focus on practical medical advice, clear next steps and honest guidance about whether a concern can be safely managed by telehealth or needs face-to-face assessment. 


He continues to work locally in general practice and has a strong understanding of the healthcare needs of Toowoomba and the Darling Downs.
